Great Valley Corporate Center, marked by
rolling green hills and handsome architecture is home
to more than 20,000 workers. This 650 acre corporate
center was designed as a “People Park”, geared
to enhancing the lives of the individuals who work in
the 80 office and R & D buildings throughout the
park.
The Great Valley Corporate Centers developer,
Liberty Property Trust, mission statement addresses their
involvement in the community by stating, “We impact
our communities – seek to improve them through
responsible and caring leadership.” As the largest
landlord in Chester County, they take their involvement
in the community very seriously. Through many mediums,
Liberty Property Trust seeks to improve the quality of
the land, the relationships of the businesses, and the
convergence of community and corporation.
Liberty Property Trust and their Great
Valley Partner companies participate annually in Habitat
for Humanity, building homes for low income families.
We participate in charity events such as Walk America
for the March of Dimes, The Relay for life for the American
Cancer Society, Walk for the Cure and Light the Night
Christmas celebration held at the Desmond Hotel. We solicit
involvement from our tenants for each of these events
in hopes to involve them in the community and local charities.
Liberty also hosts several blood drives annually, sponsoring
the event and offering a convenient location for tenants
to give during work.
Unique to our corporate center, Liberty
holds an annual Summer Camp Fair, where they bring in
40+ Summer Camps from the surrounding areas to exhibit
their opportunities for the children of working parents.
This allows our tenants the advantage of conducting summer
care research in a time effective, fun environment. Local
camps and business benefit from the exposure to our large
tenant base. We provide food and entertainment and encourage
our tenants to bring their children. Another successful,
family event is our annual Drive in Movie night, where
proceeds are donated to Chester County Cares Food Cupboard.
Each spring, The Great Valley Corporate Center Softball league
begins. The tenants of Executive Office Link comprise one of the
34 teams that play in the league. The game of business sometimes
ends up being played on the softball fields, on parking lot basketball
courts, or over volleyball nets strung up throughout the corporate
center.
Quarterly Human Resource luncheons are
held to gather all HR personnel in the park to discuss
ideas for change and improvement as well as to showcase
area amenities, new businesses, services and to share
business needs, growth and opportunities.
Executive Office Link’s ethic of
providing real value to the lives of its tenants, not
merely renting space, is an extension of Liberty Property
Trust’s philosophy.
